I'm a serious student-athlete and aspire to play at the collegiate level. I have a 3.9 GPA, scored 1420 on my first SAT, have been named to the National Honor Society, and have been on the honor roll each quarter. I'm a 6' 1'', 165 lb defender and currently play with my club, NY Hota Bavarian NPL 2002, and my high school team, St. Francis Prep.
I believe I have all the characteristics that you would want in a student athlete. On the field, I’m comfortable playing both center back positions, either on the ball marking an attacker or in a deeper position as the last man providing depth and coverage. I read the game well and have a good sense of anticipation and positioning, which allows me intercept passes or win tackles cleanly. I’m strong in the air and have the pace and stamina to cover a great distance during games. I’m also comfortable with the ball at my feet and can distribute out of the back to initiate the attack.
Just as importantly, I have a strong work ethic and am a leader on and off the pitch. I'm currently the captain of both my club and high school teams. I have a winning attitude and believe I will be an asset to any college program.
