Hello, my name is William Gleason but all my coaches call me Will. I love the game of soccer, watching it, playing it... I guess you could say, I love everything about it. Whenever I step on the pitch, I am always ready to work hard and give it my all whether I'm training or in an actual game. I am a team player and make it a point to get to know my teammates off the field - because I find this really strengthens our bond on the field. I strive to be a good leader and to lead by example whenever I can. I am vocal and outgoing and a good communicator. One of my strengths that coaches comment on is that I consistently play with a lot of heart and passion. The truth is, I don't know any other way!. I am a quick thinker and learner and enjoy making split-second decisions on the field. I am athletic and skilled but am always working on improving and asking myself how I can do better. I bring a similar commitment to my academics - I am a hard worker and my grades reflect that. Ultimately, my main goal is to get accepted to a D1 level school and maybe even more importantly to become part of a community that shares in my beliefs and values. I am passionate and focused on making that happen and won't stop until I do!
