All of my soccer career I have dreamed at a chance of playing and competing at any of the collegiate levels. It has been my ultimate goal to play division 1 soccer though I would be honored to play at any of the levels. I always set my goals extremely high to push myself to the limits. I have put in the time needed both on and off the field. For every hour of training with my team I have put in two hours of work in my backyard working on my technique, conditioning, and skill needed to make it to the next level. I am just as determined to keeping my grades at the highest level as I am to my daily training. In my academics I have always chosen the courses and classes that challenge me the most and will continue to challenge myself in academics and my athletics.
Outside of soccer and academics I also help out in my community when I am not busy with school and soccer. The past few summers I have enjoyed coaching a summer rec team in my town. It is a good opportunity to give back while teaching younger children to play something that I love so much.
One of my best attributes I believe is my work ethic. I believe hard work beats talent any day. There is rarely a time at training, practice, or matches when I am not working %110. I believe that the best way to lead a team is by leading from example. If a leader is willing to work harder than everyone else team members will look up to that. No matter the competition. I will strive to be the hardest worker on the field. Even if I know that the player or team I am facing has better technique or skill or speed. I will strive to outwork them because it is very difficult to beat someone who will never give up.
