Christian Kritzer '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Christian Kritzer, and I have played organized soccer since I was 4 years old. Throughout my career I have played various midfield positions. I currently play the CDM and CAM positions, however I'm a very versatile player and I have been placed in several other position, Striker, Leftwing, and Rightwing, with successful results. Between the age of 5 and 11 I played for the Syracuse Development Academy (SDA) under Coaches; Coach/Club Director Michael Paolini, Coach Bo Jelovac, and Coach Oscar Vergara.  From the age of 12 years old until now, I have played for Coach/Club Director Gale Agbossoumonde and Coach Michael Byrne, first with Liverpool Soccer Academy (LSA) in 2020, and then with Upstate Elite Soccer Academy (UESA) 2021-present.  I have also played Modified (8th grade), Junior Varsity (9th grade), and Varsity (10th and 11th grade) soccer at Liverpool High School.  I was a fulltime starter with Modified and Junior Varsity, I started 9 out of 15 games I played in during my sophomore season.  I was a rotational player my junior year as I was recovering from an injury that occurred during the school off season.  My plan is to play soccer at the collegiate level and eventually play professionally in Europe.  I'm a team player and I love setting up my teammates with precision passes that consistently put them in position for success on the field.  I give everything I can on the field, I go after every 50/50 ball strongly, and I position myself tactically in order to win the ball.  I've been told by multiple coaches that I am a very coachable athlete, and I have an excellent soccer IQ for my age.  I plan on attending many college level soccer camps in the future in order to get my name out there.
