Jacob Bastidas '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello I am Jacob Bastidas. I recognized a new hidden talent that I have grown to love, which is soccer. Once I started playing the sport, I instantly fell in love with it and became a passion of mine. Soccer impacted my life so dramatically because when I wasn’t feeling the best, or wasn’t motivated to do anything in life. I just waited for my practice to start, just to get back into being happy and motivated. This sport helped me understand that hard work and dedication will pay off in the end. Yes it will take a lot of sacrifice, and time. It may even cause failure, but without failure, I would not understand the hustle it takes to get back on top.  as I reflect back on life, I can thank the beautiful sport of soccer for giving me a base to achieve all the goals and all the skills I have learned.
