When I think about college soccer, the first thing that comes to my mind is to take action. Whether it's running another mile or practicing a drill once more, what keeps me going is the thought of it all being worth it in the end. Throughout my journey of honing my ability to play soccer at a collegiate level, I've come to realize an important aspect of the whole process, that in order to achieve something that others may deem unrealistic or impossible, you must work at it consistently and never doubt yourself even when times become difficult. Throughout most of my recruiting process, I've mainly been looked down upon or discouraged for trying to attain something that others believed was just not reachable. I was told that you have to be the best of the best, and that true talent is only present at a young age. However, through my persistence and strife for college soccer, I've resisted the temptation of giving up on my dreams because I learned that it's never too late for anyone to accomplish their goals, and that patience goes a long way throughout the process. This can also be applied on the field whether you're down a goal or two or if you're in a tied game. As long as you follow the process, and have faith in it, the unthinkable begins to appear achievable.
