I wish to create a structure strong enough to provide for myself straight after college. My academics are highly important to me, but athletics are held to the same level in my heart. Attending an athletic boarding school for competitive ski racing throughout high school has taught me how to efficiently balance athletics with my academics. While being a top skier in the country I was simultaneously playing soccer at the same level. Soccer to me was always a way for me to escape the internal difficulties I once had. Being able to run around and empty my emotions into my game made me fall in love with the sport. I've always been happy playing soccer, just being a part of a team made me feel at home. Coaches at times would look at me sideways due to the fact that I always had a smile on my face and was having fun, while consistently being able to perform to my greatest ability. I am a genuinely charismatic and upbeat person who loves to hype up my teammates even when the mood may be in the dirt. This named me captain of my varsity team in high school. The attitude I showed toward the sport while also outstandingly performing every time I stepped foot on the field was always the factor that lead me to be picked over many other athletes.
