Playing sports has always been a fun experience for me. Not only has it been an outlet for my energy and competitiveness, but it has resulted in deep, long-lasting friendships with my teammates. In just my high school sports experiences, I have learned so much about teamwork and communication that I know will apply to my professional life as I continue into college and adulthood. My experiences as team captain for 2 of the different sports I've played taught me how to be a successful and organized leader while also being the person my teammates felt comfortable coming up to with concerns and questions. My ability to communicate with my teammates and coaches, as well as be a competitive, dependable player on the field leads me to believe I would be a great asset to your team. I will be an amazing addition to your university not only in regards to athletics but academics as well as I plan on staying dedicated to my studies and maintaining the 4.0 GPA I have had throughout high school.
My current goals academically are geared towards engineering/architecture, and my current athletic focus is on soccer which is a sport I have consistently played since elementary school and am very passionate about.
