My name is Logan Bush. I am currently a senior at Newcomb Central School. Soccer has been a true passion of mine since I was little. Since I was eight years old, I have traveled more than an hour each way to play Club Soccer for Empire City Soccer Academy. I recently joined a very competitive club team called the Dutchmen, based out of Guilderland, NY. I have been described by my coaches as “relentless, talented, hard working,” a leader on and off the field and a "true finisher" when it comes to scoring goals. In both my Sophomore and junior years, I was voted the MVP of my league in both soccer and basketball. This year, I was voted MVP of my league in soccer for the third year in a row. I have also been recognized as an all -state player in both my junior and senior year. As a senior, I now hold the record for the second highest career goal scorer in NYS at 160 goals. I have also tied the state record twice for second most goals scored in a single game at 7 goals. I have been recognized both in the newspaper and on the nightly news several times for these accomplishments. I am a member of the National Honor Society and a volunteer for our local fire department. During the summer, I am a camp counselor and lifeguard for the Town of Newcomb. I am hoping to study sports management or physical education in college.
