Ryan Melnyk '25 Recruiting Profile

I'm a senior at Trinity-Pawling School in Pawling, NY. I love everything about soccer from the competition to the physicality of it. I am a four year varsity starter at Trinity-Pawling at either left back or right midfield, depending on what the team needs. My club team is AC Connecticut ECNL. My dominant foot is my right, but I would consider myself ambidextrous. I've been told that some of my best qualities as a soccer player are: I have a strong field sense, I'm very coachable, I have strong soccer IQ and I'm calm on the ball.

My coach has a motto that I have adopted on my own: "play every game like it's your last." Every game I've been focused on giving 110 percent effort and doing whatever it takes to help the team. I am a hard worker and hope to have the opportunity to continue my journey at the college level. I will be an asset to both the team and the community at college.
