Connor Hillis '22 Recruiting Profile

Soccer has helped me grow as a person tremendously. As I enter my junior year I have had a very successful career but it's been the losses that has helped me grown as a person.  As I was part of a undefeated team in 8th grade and only losing one game in the regular season of freshman and sophomore year. Although the regular seasons were successful The loss in the Southern Tier Athletic Conference final then semi finals are what helped grow me the most. They gave me even more motivation to improve myself and to work hard on and off the field. This sport has showed me the importance of teamwork and has showed me that to be successful you have to make sacrifices. I am driven and determined, my goals are to play college soccer and academically I would like to graduate college with a major in social work. On the field I am constantly trying to improve my game. My hustle and determination makes me standout on the field as I will out work every other player on the field in a game or in practice. I am a box to box soccer player and is willing and excited to learn and improve in the game. I believe I have the character, work ethic and skill to compete in college.
