My name is Nico DePouli, and I’m a goalkeeper at Cox Mill High School with a deep passion for the game and a relentless drive to win. Soccer has been a core part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’m committed to playing at the highest level I can—both on and off the field.

I compete year-round in the NAL and NPL leagues, and I’ve had the honor of captaining several teams over the years. These experiences have shaped me into a team-first player and a leader who knows how to communicate, stay composed under pressure, and hold myself and my teammates accountable. As a goalkeeper, I take pride in organizing the back line, reading the game, and stepping up when it matters most. I hate losing, and I approach every training session and match with the goal of getting better and helping my team succeed.

Outside of games, I’m constantly studying the sport. I watch professional matches—especially Charlotte FC games—and I break down film to find ways to improve my technique, decision-making, and positioning. I believe my game intelligence is one of my strongest assets, and I’m always looking for ways to sharpen it.

Playing college soccer isn’t just a dream for me—it’s something I’m ready to work for every single day. I want to be part of a program that values competitiveness, discipline, and growth, and I’m excited to bring my skills, leadership, and love for the game to the next level.
