Ayden Yates '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ayden Yates, the son of an American father and Brazilian mother.  A primary focus in our family is to display the highest character in everything we do.  My strongest attributes are integrity, respect, compassion, hard work, self-discipline and a strong competitive nature.  Our family values, along with my Brazilian roots, have translated into a thirteen year career in soccer.  It is one of my greatest passions in life and something that I desire to be associated with for many years to come.

First and foremost as a player I strive to display good character both on and off the field.  Strong effort and good attitude have helped me become a successful forward leading teams at all levels in scoring, assists, and wise ball distribution.  Being able to strike equally with both the left or right feet have enabled me to be incredibly versatile, attacking from left or right wing as well as a striker.   The most common feedback from my coaches relating to my strengths are great speed, ball control, decision making, and striking.  My goal is to actively contribute to a soccer program at the collegiate level while pursuing an education in Sports Management.
