I've been playing soccer as my primary sport ever since I was 4 years old. I played in my county's recreation programming for 16-18 seasons (8-9 years) before transitioning to a club, and highschool level, where I really discovered my love for the sport. It is my goal to be an impactful and important player at a D1 or D2 level, with the long term goal of playing professionally. Because of my late introduction to higher levels of soccer, and my desire to improve and play at my best level, I have learned how to work diligently and with discipline, and the results are noticeable. I would be a valuable player on the college level not only because I am coachable, but also because I would bring both a strong physical and mental presence to the team, and have a team first attitude, going so far as to develop and retrieve scouting reports during the highschool season, and studying various coaches and formations to gain an edge over the competition. I consider myself to be a born leader, and love seeing my friends and teammates succeed and supporting them in their endeavors. I always put 100% of my effort into anything that I approach, but without blaming others when I fall short. I find responsibility to be one of my defining and motivating characteristics, and understand I am responsible for my own success.
