Logan Story '23 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was young, I have always dreamed of playing professional/collegiate soccer. I am working hard to perform at the best of my abilities. My goal right now is to be the best I can be in order to reach my goal of playing college soccer. I have been playing soccer for 11 years and have always been playing at high levels. My primary positions are the 6,8., and 10. My strengths include my ability to control the ball and complete passes. These skills enable me to control the momentum of the game. That is one reason my coach trusts me at the 6.  When I play the 6, I think about players like Fernandinho, Kimmich, and de Jong, and try to apply some of their skills into my game. When I am moved to the 8, I think about players like David Silva, Luis Alberto, Pirlo. However, Kevin De Bruyne is my overall inspiration. 

When it comes to academics, I work very hard to maintain outstanding grades. I am currently ranked 3 out of 139 in my class with a weighted GPA of 4.38 and an unweighted GPA of 4.0. I attend Langtree Charter Academy where I play for the Varsity team. I am heading into my junior year of high school. For my school soccer team, I play more attacking positions than on my club team, which helps me develop an attacking mindset. One of my main strengths is my versatility. Although my main positions are in the midfield, I also have experience playing CB, fullback, CF, and outside-mid. When I am in college, I am hoping to focus my studies on the medical field.
