Tyler Donze '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. I played on a premier team for 6 years in Massachusetts before I moved to North Carolina in 2019. With no premier teams within a feasible driving distance from my house in NC, I joined a division 2 travel team. I also play for Pinecrest High School. I grew up playing basketball and baseball as well but my real passion is soccer. I am a versatile player with a strong left and right foot that can place the ball well and anticipate the next play. I play predominantly center back but can play midfield or front line when needed to score. I am dedicated both on and off the field to bettering myself and my team. I workout in the off season at home and to stay fit and I was awarded All-Conference and All-Region in 2022.

I believe the discipline I've learned in soccer has helped me academically as well. I have taken courses at Sandhills Community College this year and plan to take at least 3 more next year. My goal is to find a college that will support my efforts at playing soccer at the collegiate level as well as my needs as a student pursuing my education.
