Thinking back soccer has been a massive part of my life since the day I was born. Both of my parents were very high level athletes, my mom who competed in world juniors for track and field, and my dad who played soccer professionally. I love watching, playing, and studying the game because I am naturally a very competitive person. I use every chance I can to improve my game in some sort of way whether I'm in my driveway juggling, at the gym, or out running I push myself so that I can hopefully get where I want be. I enjoy soccer because of the oppurtunities it creates for me to be creative. Ultimately I play soccer because I enjoy it and the way it makes me feel.
Just like on the soccer field I try my hardest to be the best in the classroom. I balance my academics and soccer, but at the end of the day my academics are what make soccer possible. I've given my future lots of thought and I hope I can play the sport I love for as long as possible, but if that doesn't workout I have my sights set on studying exercise science, physical therapy, kinesiology, or sports marketing/management. I am interested in those majors because I still want to be involved with sports when I can no longer play.
When I'm not training or studying I enjoy hiking and exploring the great outdoors. I enjoy participating in almost any activity that involves running and physical activity. These activities include rock climbing, playing basketball. tennis, volleyball, or even capture the flag. Whatever the activity my teammates can count on me to try my hardest and put in effort that they can't rely on others for.
