My Name is Katelyn Bell and I have a passion for the game of volleyball. I have always had the appreciation and drive for this sport. I dedicated as much time as I could to personal lessons, working out, open gyms, and anything else that could further my knowledge for the game. Until this last year I had a major medical journey which caused me to not be able to play for a year. I had to go back to square one and learn how to walk and get my brain to work with my body. The doctors did not think I would be able to ever play again at a high level. During this time I pushed myself because I wanted to get back on that court more than anything. I manage to maintain a high gpa while juggling all of my medical challenges. The love of the game and my great support system is how I am where I am today finally back on the court. My love for volleyball is what got me walking again and stronger than ever. I am still currently fighting to overcome challenges and defying the odds. I came back this year and made the top 17s club team at the club Adidas NW Juniors. On top of being physically stronger I was and currently still learning life lessons making me mentally stronger and having a deeper level of recognition.
