My name is Nicholas Miller. I am a junior at Friendswood High School in Friendswood, Texas.
I have been playing competitive soccer at a high level for over 8 years. It is a dream of mine to play college soccer while getting a great college education.
I think the best word to describe me is committed. I am the player that makes every practice and every game. I am hardworking on and off the field. Because of my longer commute to my club practices and games, I am used to balancing soccer and school work. I take my training and contributions to my team very seriously.
My coaches tell me that I am a very unselfish player. I love setting up the perfect assist almost as much as I like scoring goals! I’ve always seen playing soccer as a privilege regardless of if we are scrimmaging or playing a game.
I believe the two skills I have that set me apart from other players are my technical skills and my speed. I have two nicknames; "Tricky" because of my ball skills and "Quick" because of my speed. I ran track and cross country in Junior High and won every race in the 2 mile. I dropped track and cross country in High School because I wanted to commit all of my time to soccer.
I feel that I can make a tremendous contribution to a soccer team and hope that I can find that ideal fit of the best college education and the best soccer program.
