Playing soccer has made me think that you have to sacrifice and commit everything you have on the field no matter what. I’ve been playing soccer since I was around 4 years old and I haven’t stopped play and since then I’ve known that soccer is the thing I love the most. But having my whole family support me , it’s a boost for me to work harder and never give up even if a obstacle comes in my life.
I don’t only work hard in sports , I also work hard in my academics. I want to be the first in my family to go to college and play soccer and graduate with a major in engineering. Winning the President’s Cup with my club in South Texas was the best feeling in my life. But then going to Regionals and winning two games and loosing one game and not qualifying made me stronger not weaker. I had to look back at the mistakes I made that game and fix them the next games. If a coach were to ask me to play any position I’ll play it and also I don’t care where I go play as long as their program can help me.
