My name is K'myah Townsend. I am the graduating class of 2021. I go to Elsik high school in Houston, Texas. I'm 5'5 and 140 pounds. I began my journey in basketball in the 6th grade and I've been in love with it ever since. I've played multiple sports including track, softball, flag football, and lacrosse. Once I played basketball I felt this certain familiarity. I am a strong finisher, also very successful in blocking and a strong defender. I also have a high vertical and also am successful in jump shots. I focus very much on academics as well. I have won a presidential award for my GPA and also made honor roll twice. I ended my sophomore year with a 3.4 GPA. My team is my everything on and off the court. We always build each in the game and stay in sync. Off the court, we focus in class and communicate with one another a lot. I plan on joining an AAU team next summer to better my skills. Being able to continue my love for basketball through college and having a career would mean the world to me. It would give me the greatest experience. I plan on playing more aggressive this year and making myself and my team noticed more. I know that this is the start of an amazing future for me.
