I became interested in soccer when I was eight years old, my mom and dad signed me up, and I never looked back. Soccer has been one of the most important influences in my life. Through soccer, I have learned the necessity of hard work and determination, which is crucial for success in soccer and life.
Academically, I would like to continue my quest for being an honor student in high school. From there, I want to go to college and study business management, eventually owning a luxury car dealership. I would love to play in college because it would give me the experience that I require to grow as a person and a player. College is a massive part of a person's development and I am very dedicated to my goals, leading me to overcome some obstacles. For instance, dedication to several hours of skill, strength and conditioning training, while focusing on school. A student-athlete can't only focus on a sport(s) but must find time for overall development. Being a boy scout has helped me with focus, allowing me to understand the importance of teamwork and leadership.
Other than determination and leadership, I think I have a unique ability as a team player. I like being a part of a team and bring my skill set for the betterment of the team. I'm also good at communicating and following directions, as seen in being a scout as well as in soccer. I am very coachable, in that I'm obligated to the coach and system in place. I understand that coaches are there to develop the individual and team successes. My characteristics include my dedication to physical and mental strength. I am a controlled/unselfish player that is looking to make that right play for myself and teammates. My skills are a part of the team setting, something that I have learned from playing soccer, boy scouts and participating in school activities. To my team, I will bring 150 percent of dedication/determination and the will to win!
