Meindert de Groot '20 Recruiting Profile

My main goal for college is to play as much soccer as possible while earning a Business degree. I am registered with NCAA.

I am a very coachable player, and I'm always looking to improve to the best of my abilities. I take criticism and apply it to my game. I'm acutely aware of the play going on around me, and communicate to my players very well. 

I stand tall at 6'6'' and I will fill up your goal with my confidence and positioning. I train daily, including lifting weights, running, and playing pickup on my free weekends, so I am also a very dedicated player. I currently play for varsity in high school soccer, I'm the starter on my club team and I guest with another club team for showcases.  In addition, I have been a soccer referee since I was 13 years old, so I understand the rules of the game.

I also study very hard. I've been in dual credit courses since my junior year and will graduate high school with 24 college credits.
