I am Joaquin Sanchez, a collegiate freshman goalkeeper at LeTourneau University. I am exploring transfer opportunities where I can contribute to a soccer program’s success both on and off the field. With 13 years of goalkeeping experience, I bring leadership, teamwork, a high soccer IQ, and the physical attributes necessary to excel in the net—agility, quickness, and explosiveness.
At Pieper High School, I served as team captain for three years, leading the team to back-to-back playoff runs and earning multiple All-State awards. As a senior, we had 18 shutouts across 24 games, recording a 0.375 Goals Against Average (GAA) and a 0.241 GAA in district play. My club soccer experience includes competing with Tigres FC San Antonio (now Legends FC), where I participated in South Texas Regional Tournaments and the E64 National Playoffs.
I am a dedicated Pre-Med student maintaining a 3.7 GPA. Balancing a demanding academic schedule with team commitments and extra training has strengthened my discipline, time management, and ability to thrive under pressure.
Soccer has been a lifelong passion and driving force for me. I pride myself on my communication, determination, and leadership, qualities that I believe will allow me to make a significant impact on your team.
