Being a part of a college gymnastics team has been my dream ever since I started competing at a more competitive and serious level. Team is the word that draws me into this sport. Being a part of something successful and supporting my teammates through their own journey is all I could ask for. The college experience I want is to be a part of a college gymnastics team and be successful, as well as supporting those around me in this sport.
I’ve maintained a 4.0 GPA all through middle and high school while managing my time as a gymnast.
My energy is what sets me apart as a gymnast. Not only am I one of the most happiest and positive person in my gym, I am always down to randomly start bursting out dance moves whenever needed. Prioritizing strong friendships with all my teammates has helped me and my teammates to support one another. Making my gym environment supportive, positive, and fun is crucial to help gymnasts advance and feel comfortable in this sport. As one of the oldest girls at my gym, I set an example by leading the other girls in stretches, conditioning, and warm up.
