To my prospective future coaches:
My name is Isaiah silveira. I am in the 12th grade and I attend Valdez High School. I enjoy swimming on the swim team. I also love music and I produce music for a hobby and hope to someday make music with my hobby as well. My long-term goals are to leave Alaska and attend college to obtain a degree in Business, and a minor in Music. Specifically, I am looking for a program that offers Marketing and either Music Business or Music Management. I would love to participate in a sports program and or music program while in college. I believe I stand out from other recruits because I am able to focus on my goals and I am persistent about achieving them.
In addition,
I have learned to be a better team player through 13 years of swimming. When I first started swimming I was not very good as expected because I was only 4 years old. In the first few years, I didn't have much effort and dedication to swimming The first years of swimming it went badly. I did not have good enough effort and my skill was not keeping up with the rest of the team. I did not start taking off and seeing my potential until my freshmen year, I started to work harder and dedicate more time to swimming including summer camps. Eventually, my many experiences and years of swimming caught up to me and my effort improved my skill greatly which caused me to do great in my next year of comp and truly support my team.
Furthermore, instead of taking college classes, I have been working hard on my dual credit corses thru high-school and Taking honors classes too.
Through this experience, I learned that hard work and attitude are keys to overcoming any obstacles. Keeping a sense of humor and understanding natural strengths are also a key to success. and never giving up
I hope I have given you a picture of my dedication to academic/athletic excellence. I am hoping I have shown that I would not squander an opportunity to attend college and participate in athletics and music programs in the future. I will update film and academics as I acquire them. I invite you to follow my progress. Thank you in advance for looking at my profile and seeing what I can do for your team.
