Andre Celeste '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andre Celeste, and I am a competitive swimmer. I am student at Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando, Florida. I am a committed swimmer and have been on a swim team since I was eight years old. I have grown as a swimmer and improved with each season. I have competed in Junior Olympics and Winter Age Group since I was in 6th grade. I’ve been on the varsity swim team since freshman year, and I’ve made it to the State Championships. Swim has been a large part of my life for many years now. The training alone is time consuming and takes dedication to become a more competitive swimmer; but like any craft, it’s the commitment to train that makes one better. Character is just as important as winning; it is how you hold yourself, and represent your team, and demonstrate good sportsmanship to your fellow swimmers.

Not only am I a strong swimmer but I am also a capable student. Time management is very important for any student athlete, as it is easy for athletics to overtake academics and vice versa. Even with training six days out of the week, I manage my grades as well as my commitment to my team.

 I want to study  pre-law and after that law, and to do so, I want to go to a college that will give me the opportunity to be an excellent lawyer. Now, that time is right around the corner, and it is time to find the right college that will allow me to swim competitively and pursue my dream as a lawyer.
