2022 Highlights Personal Statement
My coaches and teammates at Kamehameha Swim Club have supported me throughout the years and I realize that I want to continue swimming and competing in college. I believe that I am a good candidate because I am highly disciplined and consistent, which is important for any activity, but especially academics and athletics. I have strong time management skills and can balance a rigorous curriculum and an intense practice schedule. I am also a supportive teammate and realize that to have a successful season, it is measured through the collective effort of the team. Yes, we swim individual events, but true success is achieved when all members of the team have played a part and contributed to a higher standard.
