If you're reading this, thank you for the time. My name is Vincent Smith. At the age of 13, I began competitive swimming for the Academy Bullets Swim Club, located in Aurora, Illinois. My first practice ever, I wanted to quit. It was unlike any sport I had ever done before. But for this very unique reason, it is why I stayed with it. I come to practice with a positive attitude with my goal being the same everyday: get better. Because I tend to humbly reflect on times that weren't so good, but soon were brightened when hard work become an x factor, along with the strong relationships I've built with my teammates and coaches over the years, who push me and make me better everyday. I consider myself to be very adaptable and a focused listener, this relating to both school and athletics. Simply, I just strive to be better everyday and perform stellar for the school in the classroom and in the pool.
