I have been swimming competitively for 6 years. Until I tried swimming, I never had a true passion for sports. I have an amazing family support system that allows me to do what I love. I am always striving to conquer the goals I set for myself, even though I know it will be a challenge. I currently swim a variety of events but focus my training on the 1650 and 1000. My passion is in swimming distance. I have qualified for Open Water State and Zones.
I am currently finishing up 8th grade. The last two years I was a peer tutor in all subjects of my grade. In the fall, I will be enrolled in Freshman Honors classes for several subjects. In my free time, I have started to learn programming. Even when things become difficult, I continue to push myself. I hope to achieve a higher education in the career of my choice. I want to become the best person I can be. I am looking for a school that will push me both academically and athletically.
