Personal Statement
My name is Joe Trembley and I have been swimming for ten years now. I believe I would be a good candidate to be on your swim team because of my dedication to the sport and the hard work I put into it. I always race to win for my school team and my club team. I don't shy away from a challenge, and put 110% into each race. I have swam for varsity since I was in 8th grade, one of the very few in my school to ever get moved up.
I'm different than other recruits because I do multiple sports year round and I believe that I'm still a high quality swimmer even though I don't swim year round. I believe I have the mental toughness to swim in college, and keep my grades up while playing a sport in college. Every year I'm improving so by the time I graduate I will be ready to swim at the collegiate level.
