Alexander Semchenko '18 Recruiting Profile

I've been swimming since I was in fourth grade all the way until now. For me the sport is not just a daily competition, but a lifestyle. Its been my life for the last several years to jump in the pool everyday and push myself to be better. But I love doing it, so I can reach my own personal goals, and also to help my team win meets, and even championships. I've worked as hard as I can on every team I've swam for, and I plan to do so with whatever team I end up swimming for in college. 

Where ever I end up swimming in college I know the number one thing on my mind will be to improve as much as I can so I can help my team as much as I can. And over the last several years of swimming, I have improved so much yet I know there still lots of room for improvement. Where ever I end up going, I know by the time I finish my last race of my career in my last year of college and touch the wall, I'll know I've given my team and my coach everything I could.
