When I grow up and attend college I wish to attend a college that has a close group of people that care and support each other like what my club team does. I strive in an open and welcoming environment. Swimming is a big part of my life because it gives me a place to escape to and put all my effort to improve. swimming also has a niche community where everyone, even rival swimmers, support each other when they are down. I would make a good candidate for your college swim team because I always give all of my effort in improving myself and will always be there for anyone who is down on themselves whether it be a bad swim or an outside problem that does not pertain to swimming. I have made multiple championship level meets in my region. i have made IMX 3 times. when I was 12,13, and 14. When my high school swim team won the island champs during my freshman year. it was the highlight of that year. The satisfaction that we worked harder than anyone on the island and with a dominant performance going 10 and 0 for the 3rd time in a row. i felt that i was part of a legacy that will last forever. The bonds that we made while swimming our hearts out was very satisfying and fulfilling. When i was a sophomore we tied Staten Island Tech for first place in the island i felt that i grew tremendously both as a swimmer and as a person. to cope from loosing and knowing that we tried our hardest.
