Joshua Mouser '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joshua Mouser and I am a highly-motivated student-athlete at First Flight High School. I have only been swimming for three years, but I currently swim for a travel team, a club team, and a high school team. My favorite events are the 50-100 Butterfly, 400/500 Free, 200 IM and a variety of other freestyle events. I enjoy traveling to different events and being around competitive swimmers so I can push myself. I also enjoy having a dynamic coaching staff that knows how to connect with me and inspire me to be a better athlete. I have participated in many private classes and two private swim sessions with Dr. Genadijus Sokolovas, the Director of Physiology and Sport Science for USA Swimming from 2000 to 2008.

I am always the first person in and the last person out of the pool. I swim two practices, five days a week. I also attend meets two times a week for my high school season and almost every weekend for my club and travel teams. I am a hardworking student with a 4.0 GPA. I'm also rated in the top 10 out of my graduating class of 252 students. I am enrolled in a dual enrollment program with a local community college and will graduate with an associate degree. I want to go to a high-quality college, obtain my MBA, and then attend law school to be a lawyer.
