Tyler Tennant '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tyler Tennant and I am going into my Sophomore year at Cuthbertson High School. I love swimming and spend majority of my time in the pool. But when I’m not swimming, I enjoy shooting hoops, throwing the football with my dad, fishing with my brother, and being with family. Even though I come across as being shy, I break out of my shell when I’m in the pool to compete. My club coach calls me the “silent assassin”, very quiet, then out of no where, can crush an event. I was awarded the Freshmen Swimmer of The Year award this past season for high school, not only for swimming well and making it to states, but for being a great teammate and always showing good sportsmanship to my teammates, coaches, and swimmers from other teams. I have great respect for all swimmers, because I know how hard we work. I’m always willing to learn more both in and out of the pool. My goal is to bring the confidence I have in the pool, into my everyday life.
