I have been a varsity captain for the past 2 years in swimming. I have attempted to run cross country and track but never found the same love I did for swimming. I was a very average swimmer for freshman and sophomore year but then junior year hit and I was swimming 5-10 sec faster in my 50s and 100s respectively. I went to districts my junior and senior year missing state by just a few places. I know I have the drive to practice especially after not holding back my senior year but missing the margin oh so narrowly. Tho not as heartbreaking as I thought it would be, I had a healthy amount of cries for the week after. The week after I hoped back in the weight room and got back on that grind. I'm trying out tennis just so I don't fall into a rut like I did last year. Not depression or anything severe, just video games ;). I am truly willing to do anything to be on a swim team I only missed about 1000 yards of the some 500,000 that our coach had us do for us this year. My goals are just to stay in amazing shape with my body because that's where I feel the most happy and most comfortable. I find myself to be a very outgoing person, willing to do almost anything to make people proud.
I also love to be funny and different I hope the picture catches your eye :)
The picture was for the Gipe relays and the theme was Wild Wild West so that's why I look like a gay cowboy.
