My collegiate goals consist of being accepted into a swim team so that I may stay in shape, make lifelong friendships, push myself, and continue my love of swimming. I’m a good candidate for your team because I am a very dedicated hard worker and will push myself at every practice. I show leadership during practice by listening to and doing what my coaches say and encouraging my teammates, both in and outside of practice. I’m always loyal to my teammates and coaches. Outside of swimming, I am very musical. I participate in choir, I will be the chorus president my senior year, I have had lead roles in the musical for the last three years, and I play my guitar and ukulele in my spare time. I only started swimming competitively my freshman year in high school, and I have improved drastically since then due to my hard work ethic. I am also good at following coaches when they give me instruction with my strokes. Every school year I always strive to make honor roll, and I take my academics seriously because my swimming and musicals rely on my grades being good. I look forward to meeting with coaches and I’m excited for this new chapter in my life.
