A big part of my life is swimming. I spend a lot of time training (10-15 hours per week) and competing all year around. Since 5th Grade, I've been a competitive swimmer for a local club called Alamo Area Aquatics Association (AAAA). I've qualified and placed in local and regional events, earning myself too many medals and memories to count. Since beginning high school, I've been a Varsity Swimmer, first team competitor, and I've placed at Districts and Regionals every year, earning the title of Team Captain along the way. As much as I love swimming, I also understand the importance of education and serving our community. I’ve challenged myself by choosing to attend a magnet school (Communications Arts High School, San Antonio, NISD) which focused on college preparation with an emphasis on Pre-AP/AP/Dual Credit courses. I feel I’ve risen to the challenge by achieving membership into the National Honor Society (NHS), Spanish National Honor Society (SNHS), and earning All-Academic Honors with UIL.
