Christian Georgi '24 Recruiting Profile

Obtaining my sectionals cut in LC 200 breast was a summer spotlight.  This goal was obtained through continuing hard work and making adjustments coming off earning four southern zone cuts in short course.  I have been swimming club since I was 10 years old and continue to love the sport.  My two older cousins who are former high school and club swimmers are my biggest supporters, and early on I had the desire to emulate them.  

I have learned that swimming requires dedication and perseverance.   Much knowledge can be gained from drop times as well as adding time.  Swimming is not just a individual sport, and I believe that swimmers should support each other in and out of the water.  I have spent time this season developing my leadership skills and being a supportive team mate.   I was just selected to be captain of my high school swim team.  I am continuing to learn in the sport of swim and just added on water polo by making the varsity team this new school year.  I am discovering that water polo is  great for conditioning, and I love working as a team.  My coaches and my peers would describe me as dedicated, conscientious, responsible, consistent and a team player.
