I started playing tennis when I was 5 years old and have fallen in love with the sport from the start. Growing up, my parents put me into many different sports including soccer and basketball. Coming from a team sports past, I am easily able to connect and work with others. My hard work and tenacity has brought me success over the years being top 3 in my province of Alberta for many years. And currently ranked 1 in Boys U16 in Canada. Tennis has taught me the benefits of perseverance, hard work and problem solving which are also useful in my personal life.
I am a highly motivated young player with a high aspiration of reaching the ATP tour in the future. I believe that college would be a great way for me to achieve that goal. The team environment at college, hard work and accountability are some of the attributes of college that makes it a good fit for me. Academically I am studying a lot of the sciences with hopes of getting into a computer science program in college.
I love tennis and am ready to put in the work to achieve my goal. My consistent training regime and great coaching has given me the opportunity to thrive in my tennis career so far, but my hard work and mental fortitude are what have truly allowed me to come this far, and is why I would be a great addition to your team. This might sound like a cliché but it's not; you will not find a better motivated, hard working and coachable candidate.
