My ultimate goal is to compete in collegiate tennis while pursuing a degree in aviation. Originally, I planned to enlist in the Air National Guard after high school; however, I decided to delay that commitment until after college so I can fully dedicate myself to tennis. Since the age of six, I have played eight different sports, including both club and travel teams, but tennis has always been my passion due to its fast-paced and dynamic nature. Four years ago, I began taking private lessons and have consistently worked to improve my skills every day. I particularly look forward to my winter lessons, as the cold and snowy conditions provide a unique opportunity to challenge myself further. During my freshman year of high school, I had the privilege of playing varsity doubles in the number one spot with a senior partner, and together we qualified for state. Last year, I transitioned to singles, and while my performance didn't meet all of my expectations, I gained invaluable insights into the strategies and playing styles required for success in this discipline. I have a deep love for both singles and doubles and am confident in my ability to compete at a high level in either format.
