Personal Statement

I started running in seventh grade. Although I wasn't sure if this sport was right for me, I  grew to love the process. I learned that it takes dedication, hard work, and grit to truly understand what running is all about. From that realization, I also know how important it is to surround yourself with hardworking, supportive teammates. My traits of being stubborn and determined don't just help me perform well in running, but also in the classroom. As previously said, as important as athletics are to me, my academics are too and I realize that in order to compete in running, I need to excel in the classroom. I'm looking for a University that I can impact academically and athletically and a team that doesn't just make me a better athlete, but a better person!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
