Since I’ve stepped foot onto the court, I’ve held a desire to play volleyball at the collegiate level. I put my blood, sweat and tears into all of the training I’ve endured over the past 6 years I’ve been competing in the sport. I know that taking the next step into playing volleyball in college is an opportunity that will better my skill and be a life-changing experience.
I am a natural leader and lead my team with positivity and by encouraging my teammates to be, not only the best versions of themselves, but to help bring out the best in the rest of our team. I strive to be the most hard-working player on the court, training in different areas to become extremely adaptable and versatile.
In school, I study hard and maintain a 3.8 GPA, pushing myself everyday to get better academically. Aside from volleyball, I enjoy time with friends and family, and I work and volunteer at a variety of places, for example, Help Feed My Starving Children and coaching younger kids, because helping others brings me a lot of joy.
I want to attend a college that pushes me and makes me challenge myself on and off the court to become a better teammate and a better person overall. I am open to any advice and all options, wanting to achieve finding a college with the highest level of competition possible. I plan on becoming a helpful asset to my team whether that is playing a position I’m used to, or playing somewhere because that is where I am needed. I also wish to become the best role model possible for my peers, teammates and the audiences watching me.
