As an all around athlete I started playing sports at a young age. For many years I played soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, track and field. When I was 4 years old my parents signed me up for group tennis lessons and I have not stopped playing since. Around the age of 10, I decided to focus on tennis as it became my favorite sport to play. I have met some of my best friends and coaches through years of club tennis, competitive matches, and summer camps. I made the High School Varsity Tennis Team as an 8th grader before our season got cut short due to the pandemic. I am currently a member of the Boys Scholar-Athlete Leadership Club (BSALC), Varsity Winter Track Team, Future Business Leaders and multiple honor societies. I continue to train all year round and am looking forward to this year's tennis season. My other hobbies and interests include biking, technology, engineering and building computers.
Tennis teaches me to be patient and optimistic both on and off the court. It has taught me about what I can achieve with hard work as well as what my strengths are and areas I need to grow in. My goals are to remain well balanced in both advanced academics and tennis as I continue to grow and learn through high school and college.
