Hi, my name is Emma Hearns and I am a 16 year old mid-distance to long distance runner from Commack, New York. For me, my top two priorities in life are always academics and track. I’m on the IB diploma track, and I’m taking a full IB schedule this year, and next year. I always put 110% of my effort into anything, whether it be academics, athletics, or my many extracurriculars. I always work hard on and off the track, and I believe that’s what counts. What the athletes does when no one is looking; and how they approach other aspects of their lives. My goals for college are to maintain a high GPA, and perform well in track. I am well-rounded and balanced which is what i believe is important, and sets me apart from other recruits.
