My name is Tristan Stine and I am interested in playing men’s tennis in college. I am a 5’11” senior who trains and goes to school at Austin Tennis Academy (ATA) in Austin, Texas. I will begin college in the fall of 2025.
A little bit about myself. At ATA, I typically train before, in between classes, and after school on average 15-20 hours a week plus working with my fitness trainer. My singles UTR is currently a 10.75 and my doubles UTR is currently a 11.13. My first big tennis accomplishment was winning the 12s Little Mo Nationals 1st place trophy and the Sportsmanship Award. My most recent tennis accomplishment was winning a gold ball in the 2023 L1 National Doubles Tournament, a silver ball in the USTA L1 Boys 16s Doubles at Clay Court 2023 Nationals, and a bronze ball at the 2024 L1 National Doubles Tournament. During my high school years, I won the Mentor Award at ATA in 2023 and 2024. I also received the Most Valuable Player award my freshman year at Bowie High School where I played #1 singles.
I am a good student with an unweighted GPA of 3.53. I am interested in a major in Business and I am looking for a college that can offer me a good blend of academics and athletics.
I have lots of experience playing on a team whether it be high school tennis, dual matches versus other tennis academies, or team event USTA tournaments. Playing on a team brings out the best in my energy and level of play.
Please check out my website www.tristanstine.com where I post updates on my tennis.
