Hi Coaches,
Here is why you should consider my as a prospective athlete for your school. To start I started tennis later in my childhood. And covid was a main driver for me to focus on tennis. My previous sports included Track and Field, volleyball, and basketball. But once I put my mind into tennis, my passion and love for the sport really grew and I accelerated quickly. In 2022, I was awarded the most improved tennis player in that class.
I grew to love tennis and have seen a good acceleration in the last 3 years. I am excited what the future holds. What I love about tennis is the competitive nature of the sport. I love how the sport makes me mentally tough. Teaches me about overcoming adversity. During a match I can be up or down, but either way I need to navigate and find a way to compete and win.
My character is ultra competitive and passionate. I am always striving to improve and be a better athlete and support my teammates.
Academically, my strengths lean more towards the creative subjects. I enjoy languages, history, and English. In 2022, I was fortunate to be recognized and awarded as the most improved student of 2022.
Why am I different than others? I have had to overcome some challenges during my childhood. My parents divorced when I was 3 years old and that was very tough for me. Both of my parents have been supportive and help me to be my best. While the adjustment was difficult, I think I have been able to focus my efforts into something I love...
I look forward to showing the college stage what I can offer and what heights I can reach.
Thank you for your consideration and hope to meet some of you soon.
