I attend Dimond high school that has a history of track championship teams. I've been on varsity track since my freshman year. I've participated in the Alaska State Track Championships every year. My freshman year I went to state on the 4x2 relay team, even though we didn't medal it inspired me to work harder. My sophomore year I went to state for long jump, triple jump, and the 4x4 relay. My junior year I went to state for long jump, triple jump, 4x4, and 4x2. This meet taught me a lot about competing back to back and the type of endurance needed to compete a high level. I'm taking all of this motivation into my senior year and anticipate significant improvements in my running and jumping. I've put in a lot of work in the offseason by joining the Alaska Running Academy. The Alaska Running Academy has really improved my running and jumping form. With all that I've ben learning I'm really excited to PR and set state records this year. I'm passionate about track and field and I would love to compete at a collegiate level. I would be a great addition to any track and field team because of my work ethic, leadership, and willingness to do what's best for the team.
