Harlie Lewallen '21 Recruiting Profile

Even though I am just a freshman I am really passionate about Track and Field.  I work very hard on and off the track to make sure I am able to succeed in what I am trying to do. I am not just a runner but, that is my main passion.  I also play clarinet, I've made into the state band and the Anchorage Youth Symphony. I work hard at my playing as well as my physical activities. The fall sport I play is Football. This is more just for fun but I really enjoy that as well. I think this gives me a very wide variety of things that makes me different than other students. I have a goal of becoming an engineer, my school has a very good program and I participate in the robotics team there. One of the biggest things on my list when I'm looking for colleges is their engineering program, I am hoping to be able to run as well as study but that means finding the right school for that. One of my goals is to get state titles in my track events. I am willing to work very hard for my goals and for a team that could use me. I would love to run beyond high school track and give myself those opportunities.
