Learning to work with my team during my sophmore year made me grow as an athlete and as a person. I learned that putting aside personal goals and working towards a team goal has great rewards. I was able to compete at the state meet level with the 4 x 400 team because we worked together and pushed each other.
I am pushing myself to make my junior year even better and improve my times to help myself and my team win another CIF championship.
Academically I enjoy science related classes and hope to study DNA and genetics in college.
